GPX Mock Location
su.mya.mocklock
Zapstore _@zapstore.dev A reliable mock location provider that actually works to replay GPX tracks.
Republished from GitHub / F-Droid by the Zapstore main account.
GPX Mock Location allows you to simulate GPS movement on your Android device by replaying tracks and waypoints from standard GPX files. The app parses coordinates and timestamps directly from your GPX files, calculating delays between points to replicate real-world movement speeds. Playback runs continuously in a foreground service, allowing location simulation to proceed while using other applications or with the screen turned off. **Features:** • Replay GPX routes containing track points (<trkpt>) or waypoints (<wpt>). • Accurate playback intervals derived from ISO 8601 timestamps. • Open GPX files via the built-in file picker or directly from external file managers. • Reliable foreground service with persistent status notification. • Clean, modern interface built with Jetpack Compose and Material 3 dynamic theming. • Completely offline and privacy-friendly: no tracking, no ads, and no network requests required. **Setup Instructions:** To allow the app to inject mock locations: 1. Enable Developer Options on your device (Settings > About phone > tap "Build number" 7 times). 2. Go to Settings > System > Developer options. 3. Tap "Select mock location app" and choose "GPX Mock Location". 4. Open the app, grant the required location permissions, select a GPX file, and press "Start".
