- Oct 3, 2026 0.9.7.0There's been some things long coming in this one: - Most importantly, the entire wiki posting backend has been revamped to use more modern libraries and be quite a bit less XML-centric. Easier to develop, easier to debug, and hopefully smoother all around. As a note, though, this DOES bump up the minimum Android SDK version for Geohash Droid to 21 (Lollipop, 2014). (#100) - Also, that revamp should fix the recent wiki authentication issues. Sorry about that. (#100) - There's a new feature! When uploading an image to the wiki, there's now a button that allows you to rotate and/or mirror the image before uploading! This will hopefully take the guesswork out of wondering whether EXIF rotation data will cause weirdness with the upload. (#95) - Fixed the URL to the Peeron DJIA server, and added data.geohashing.info into the mix of potential servers. More redundancy! - Plus, a variety of code cleanup in general, most of which I'm pretty sure doesn't even make it to bytecode in the end. Enjoy!
