MRT Buddy is a third-party, unofficial app designed to make your Dhaka Metro Rail and Rapid Pass experience smoother and more convenient. With MRT Buddy, you can: - Tap your Dhaka Metro Rail and Rapid Pass cards on your NFC-enabled phone for instantly checking balance. - View and store the balance and last 19 transactions directly on your device. - Build up your travel history for insightful statistics and analysis. - Manage multiple cards easily by saving and naming each one. - Use the fare calculator to estimate trip costs and check available balance for any route. - Experience complete privacy with no ads, no tracking, and offline functionality—your data stays on your device. MRT Buddy sources its trip data and transaction details directly from the NFC chip embedded in your Dhaka MRT Pass and Rapid Pass cards, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. The fare calculator is built using the official fare chart published on dmtcl.portal.gov.bd, providing reliable estimates for your journey costs. MRT Buddy ensures accessibility for everyone with Bangla and English language support. Prioritizing your privacy, the app operates entirely offline with no ads or data tracking, so your information remains yours alone.
