VCMI is an open-source engine that aims to provide the full original experience of Heroes of Might and Magic 3, as well as optional enhancements and mods for a refreshing change of pace. **YOU NEED TO OWN ORIGINAL HOMM3 COMPLETE EDITION TO PLAY THIS GAME. YOU CAN BUY IT ON GOG.COM OR ANOTHER PLATFORM, IT IS FREQUENTLY DISCOUNTED.** Installation and troubleshooting guide: https://vcmi.eu/players/Installation_Android/ With VCMI you can: - Experience all the classic HoMM3 expansions including Armageddon's Blade and Shadow of Death. - Admire the enhanced visuals with the built-in HD mod. x2 BRZ recommended for non-desktop devices. - No Ads or in-app Purchases! - Enjoy a user interface adapted for touchscreens that feels natural. - Play the full game offline. Long haul flights have never been more fun! - Install additional mods in the launcher to enhance your experience and tailor the game to your liking. - Use tens of thousands of custom HoMM3 maps that have been made over decades and are available to download and play in VCMI. - Utilise the random map generator with new map templates for endless hours of immersing yourself in the world. - Play against your friends with the numerous multiplayer improvements to the original HoMM3, such as simultaneous turns. Make sure both clients have the same game version and mods installed. Some limitations exist in the current VCMI that will be improved in the future releases: - The AI has been written from scratch and can make mistakes that are not seen in the base game. - The AI does not go through one-way portals. Custom maps that rely on this mechanic will not function properly. - Some popular mod features are not fully implemented. Do not expect the same HoTA and WoG experience in VCMI as desktop versions.
