A dim, night-vision-friendly screen light with swipe controls

Republished from GitHub / F-Droid by the Zapstore main account.

gloomy turns the whole screen into a single, very dim color. It is meant for finding your way in the dark without disturbing your night vision or raising your vigilance, e.g., checking on a sleeping child without blinding yourself or anyone else, or getting a glass of water at night. **Controls** - Swipe up or down, or use the volume keys, to make the light brighter or dimmer. - Swipe left or right to move continuously from red through amber and yellow to white. **Features** - Red by default, which preserves night vision best. - Goes dimmer than the phone's lowest brightness setting by also dimming the color itself. - Keeps the screen on and hides the status and navigation bars while open. - Quick settings tile that opens gloomy straight from the lock screen, without unlocking the phone. - Remembers the last color and brightness. - Changes the screen brightness only while gloomy is open. - No permissions, no network access, no ads, no tracking.
