Ensu is a private, offline AI chat app by Ente Labs that runs entirely on your device. Chat, think, and write without sending your data to the cloud. Ensu uses local language models, so your conversations stay with you - no accounts, no tracking, no usage limits. Designed as a personal AI that grows with you, Ensu works even without internet access and is perfect for private reflection, reading discussions, or long flights. It’s open source, cross-platform, and built with a shared Rust core for performance and reliability. Optional end-to-end encrypted backups and sync across devices are coming soon.
