    BeauTyXT Reimagined is here: a ground-up rewrite for reading, editing, and sharing plain text and Markdown, with a Material 3 Expressive interface and a Rust document engine. **Android 17 / API 37 or newer is required. The interface is currently English-only.** ## What's new - Native Markdown preview with tables, task lists, alerts, footnotes, a supported HTML subset, and supported TeX math and Mermaid diagrams—without a browser or JavaScript. - Source/preview navigation that keeps your place, document-wide Find, Contents, and Go to line. - Undo/redo, source autosave with conflict detection and write verification, and bounded large-file editing for UTF-8 documents up to 256 MiB. - Android sharing, QR codes, NFC tags, and lossless WebP or PNG QR exports.

    - Source and formatted Markdown printing, with selectable PDF text, individual margins, font choices, and page numbers. - Separate isolated worker instances for document processing, no Internet permission, and no app-private document storage. ## Upgrading Files remain in their existing locations. Preferences from previous versions are not retained. New documents and received text remain in memory until you explicitly save them. Compatible saved files autosave to their source. Unsaved sessions and undo history do not survive app process death. This release focuses on UTF-8 plain text and Markdown. It does not include the old experimental DOCX support or general HTML/CSS rendering. Images and unsupported Markdown, HTML, math, or diagram content retain source/alternative-text fallbacks rather than fetching external resources.
