Voice is a clean audiobook player for people who bring their own books. Add your audiobook folder once, and Voice turns your local audio files into a simple library. Force-close the App and start again ## What it does <img width="2639" height="2182" alt="image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/6f4b7f9a-aaf2-4b28-bb9b-8bf61b634935" /> The old model writes playback position to the database very frequently while audio is playing. The new model writes position mainly on playback events like pause, seek, track transitions, and shutdown. While you are actively listening, Voice can use the live player position instead of constantly round-tripping through the database. The goal is lower resource usage, especially less battery-hungry database activity during playback. The tradeoff is that this mode depends more on the media timeline being correct.
