- Sep 12, 2026 0.21.0-preview### Changes - Improved Android TV support: all components are now focusable, and imports, exports, snapshots, and captures now have TV-specific implementations (#158, #160) - [Material Files](https://github.com/zhanghai/materialfiles) or another file manager is still required to import data into the app (#161) - That one weird bug that prevented folders from being created has been fixed (#76) **Note**: If you use Linkora in a non-English language, download the updated language strings from the language settings screen, then tap "Load server strings" (or its localized equivalent) to apply them so dynamic values display correctly. ### Internals

- Localization is rewritten from scratch. locales/default.json is the single source of truth for both the app and the server. Dynamic values are now handled using the new format, similar to Android string resources. `LocalizationKey` and `LocalizedStrings` are generated at build time and are not checked into source. **Full Changelog**: https://github.com/LinkoraApp/Linkora/compare/release-v0.20.0...release-v0.21.0 - Aug 26, 2026 0.20.0-preview### Changes - web-capture implementation is now based on [kapture](https://github.com/sakethpathike/kapture), which offloads data to File I/O to keep memory low on media-heavy sites. Peak memory usage is roughly halved compared to the previous monolith implementation. Both tests used the exact same links. See current memory and CPU usage below, and [this](https://sakethpathike.github.io/blog/web-capture-in-linkora#:~:text=This%20hit,exception) for the previous metrics. - <details> <summary>Current usage</summary> </details>

- If you only want to save web pages rather than using Linkora, check out [kaptureGUI](https://github.com/sakethpathike/kapture/releases/). It currently supports Linux x64, ARM64, and Windows x64. - Web target should now be working better than before since the builds are now based on Room 3.0.1 and the database operations are now stable (OPFS locks shouldn't be an issue anymore) **Full Changelog**: https://github.com/LinkoraApp/Linkora/compare/release-v0.19.0...release-v0.20.0
