_PingOff_ is a simple app that automatically toggles Do Not Disturb based on the apps you use. Do you like your phone quiet while reading, meditating, or playing a game? Hate getting interrupted by random notifications? Forget to turn on DND and regret it right after? Then _PingOff_ is the perfect app for you! _PingOff_ is open source and released under the GPLv3 license[1]. Feel free to browse or fork the code[2]. **Required Android Permissions** ▸ ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY to change Do Not Disturb mode. ▸ PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS to know which app is currently running. ▸ BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE to detect which app is in the foreground. ▸ RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED to automatically start on boot if enabled. ▸ REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS to make sure it keeps working in the background. **Accessibility Services** ▸ Purpose: PingOff uses the Accessibility Services API to detect which app is currently in the foreground. This lets the app automatically enable Do Not Disturb when you switch to one of your selected apps, and disable it when you leave them. ▸ Privacy and Security: The service observes only the package name of the active app. This information is used exclusively on-device to check against your personal app list. No personal data is collected, stored remotely, or shared. ▸ Permission Scope: The Accessibility Services permission is strictly used for foreground app detection.
