It explores what phones could become when the primary interface is an agent instead of manual app switching: the agent can use local tools and files, observe Android state, control apps with permission, learn reusable mobile skills, and communicate with trusted agents. Instead of treating the phone as a remote screen, ClawMobile makes it the runtime. The phone hosts the gateway, the mobile tools, the recorded evidence, and the learned workflows, so personal app tasks can become repeatable skills instead of one-off screenshot reasoning sessions. Optional AccessibilityService ClawMobile uses Android’s AccessibilityService only when the user enables it. The service reads visible screen content and supported UI events, including text, labels, app and package names, screen layout, taps, focus changes, and text changes. When required for a user-initiated task or demo recording, it may also capture temporary screenshots and OCR text. This information is used to understand the visible interface, perform specific UI actions requested by the user, and record user-initiated demonstrations for creating reusable workflows. Relevant screen summaries, OCR text, screenshots, or demo data may be transmitted to the model provider or backend configured by the user. ClawMobile does not use this data for advertising. AccessibilityService may perform visible actions such as tapping, typing, scrolling, swiping, and Android navigation actions. The service is optional and can be disabled at any time in Android Settings.
