Zapstore _@zapstore.dev Private, offline money tracker in Jordanian dinars, in English and Arabic
Republished from GitHub / F-Droid by the Zapstore main account.
Pocket Sense tracks your income, spending, budgets and bills without an account and without the internet. Everything stays on your phone in an encrypted database. It leaves only as an encrypted backup, or, if you turn on sync, encrypted to your own paired devices on your Wi-Fi. **Private by design** - No sign-in, no servers, no ads, no analytics. The network is used only to sync with your own devices on your local network, and only if you turn that on. - Your data is encrypted with SQLCipher, using a key kept in the Android Keystore. - Optional app lock with a 4–6 digit PIN, and fingerprint or face unlock. **Made for Jordan** - Amounts in Jordanian dinars with three decimals (JOD 12.500). - Full Arabic interface, right to left, with Latin digits. **Features** - Home: this month's income, spending and net, a 30-day spending chart and a breakdown by category. - Activity: add, edit, search and filter transactions, with merchant, category and notes. - Voice entry (English): say "Spent 3.5 on lunch at Reem yesterday" and check the filled-in form. - Budgets: weekly or monthly limits per category, with progress and over-budget warnings. - Recurring: bills, subscriptions and salary with due dates, posted as transactions in one tap. - Backup: export everything to a password-encrypted file, or back up automatically once a day, and import it on another phone. - Sync: pair your phone with your computer or another phone, and keep the same data on both over your Wi-Fi. No server, no internet. Voice entry uses your phone's speech recognizer. On most phones that is a separate app with its own privacy terms; the sentence itself is interpreted inside Pocket Sense.

- Oct 19, 2026 2.2.9## 📊 New charts on Home - **By Merchant (30 days):** where your money goes, by shop. The top 5 merchants, everyone else as "Other", and spending without a merchant as its own slice. Names match ignoring case and extra spaces. - **Income vs Spending (6 months):** income and spending side by side for each of the last 6 months. - **This Month vs Last Month:** what you've spent so far this month, day by day, against last month, so you can see if you're ahead or behind. - **By Weekday:** the average you spend on each day of the week over the last 12 weeks. The week starts on Saturday in Arabic. On the desktop, the daily chart now spans the full width, with the other charts in pairs below it. All of it works in Arabic, right to left. ## Download

With the AppImage or the tarball you also need GTK 3, and `parecord` for voice entry (`pulseaudio-utils` on Debian/Ubuntu/Fedora, `libpulse` on Arch). - Oct 17, 2026 2.2.8## 🔒 Fixes - **Fixed: on some phones, reopening Pocket Sense after closing it could lose the encryption key**, and the app said it couldn't open your data. Reported on a RedMagic 8S Pro (Android 13). The most likely cause: by default, the secure-storage library deletes everything it holds when Android's Keystore gives it an error at startup. That's now turned off: if the Keystore misbehaves, you get an error with **Try again**, and nothing is deleted. Data already lost this way can't be recovered, so keep automatic backups on (**Settings → Backup**). - **With a PIN set, the app now stays locked if the Keystore can't be read.** Before, an error there opened the app without asking for the PIN. - On Android, the error now names Android's keystore instead of the Linux keyring. ## Download **Android** - Also on **[F-Droid](https://f-droid.org/packages/ace.software.pocketsense/)**, which keeps it updated.
