Releases
- Oct 31, 2026 0.2.7This release makes pull to refresh faster and fixes a lock screen that could stay on "Waiting…". It is a full release, not a pre-release. It replaces 0.1.0 as the latest release. Requires Android 15 (API 35) or later. One APK for all ABIs: arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86 and x86_64. 0.1.0 needs only Android 8.0. On a phone with Android 8 to 14, stay on 0.1.0. Install it over 0.2.6. The signing key is the same. Accounts you already added keep working. ## Changed - Pull to refresh on Home and Wallet is faster, mostly on Tor. The screen now asks for its own data first. The refresh indicator stays on until the new data shows. - The confirmation policy has the same labels and the same order (0, 1, 2, 6 confirmations) in New invoice > **More options** and in Store settings. Before, New invoice showed names such as "LowMediumSpeed".
- The menu rows on More, Server, Store settings, App settings, Lightning, Wallet and Payment methods now have the same spacing, colours and tap effect. TalkBack says when a row is disabled. - A background check that finds no change no longer writes the encrypted app files. Thus the app writes less to storage, also during an outage of the server or of Orbot. - The APK is 16 KB smaller. - Build only: unused code and repeated R8 rules removed, and less memory for local builds. ## Fixed - App lock: if you left the app while the fingerprint prompt got ready, the lock screen could stay on "Waiting…" when you came back. Only a force stop helped. The same problem could block the app lock offer after sign-in, and the confirm buttons in Settings and Send. Now one tap on **Unlock** shows the prompt. - Two fast taps on the back arrow could close two screens. For example, the customer checkout closed together with Invoice details, or the Send form closed together with Scan. Now one tap closes one screen. - Terminal, New invoice and Refund: if the language changed or you connected a keyboard during the request, the server made the invoice or the pull payment, but the app did not open it. The Terminal could stop, and Refund kept its form, so a second tap could make a second pull payment. Now the checkout or the pull payment opens one time. - In a right-to-left language, the arrows on the Lightning and Wallet rows now point in the correct direction. ## Privacy and security - On Settings and Send, a fingerprint prompt that did not start could stop the automatic lock. Now the app locks again after your "Lock after" time. ## Files | File | Use | |---|---| | `btcpayapp-0.2.7.apk` | Release build, signed.
