Grocery
com.marc26z.grocery
Marc marc@primal.net *I vibe-coded a simple grocery list app that I can share with my household. I used open-code on an Omarchy Android app that basically turns your phone into an arch linux computer. It's the free version. I had to ask Deepseek Pro to fix some bugs, but it was able to fix the bugs based on that information. It was also able to bpush it to github and host it on a github domain. Then I heard Max Hillebrand suggest we should try adding Marmot Protocol messages.

Releases
- Oct 21, 2026 1.0.5Household pantry: a product catalog with units and minimum stock, plus stock lots with best-before dates. Consuming takes the soonest-expiring lots first, and low/expiring badges show what to restock. Households share the same encrypted key-grant flow as lists; older clients simply ignore them.
- Oct 15, 2026 1.0.4
- Oct 14, 2026 1.0.3Lists now survive closing and reopening the app. The decrypted list contents are cached locally alongside the list key; previously only the key was stored, so a list could disappear on reopen until a relay happened to re-deliver the event.
- Oct 14, 2026 1.0.2Share lists with a paste-able list key (grocery1:…) instead of an invite link — copy it from Share and paste it under Join on another device. Includes Marmot per-list chat and passkey identities.
- Oct 13, 2026 1.0.1Create an identity backed by a passkey (WebAuthn PRF) — no nsec to back up.
- Oct 13, 2026 1.0.0First release. Shared, end-to-end encrypted grocery list over Nostr, wrapped as an Android app for Zapstore.
