Juraj🏴💛🌘 juraj@tamersofentropy.net Nostr events built for meeting the right people
Nostrautica runs conferences, meetups and other events on Nostr. Attendees join an event, tell it who they would like to meet, and get introductions to the people who fit, with the reason for each match. The event page holds the schedule, talks and posts, and the people there can talk in the event's group chat or by private message. Organizers create the event, approve who joins, set it up and read the report afterwards, all from the phone. There is no app server. Everything runs on your phone against Nostr relays: encrypted private messages (NIP-17), group chat over MLS, event keys. Sign in with Amber or any NIP-46 signer, or bring your own key. This is the native version of the web app at nostrautica.cypherpunk.today. Open source under the MIT licence.

Releases
- Oct 20, 2026 0.13.2Steadier and more responsive, with security and reliability fixes from two external audits. - The app no longer stalls while screens draw: secure-storage reads, message unwrapping and other work moved off the UI thread. This was a likely cause of "app isn't responding" on phones with many events. - A group chat you were just added to shows new messages live, without restarting the app. - Communities can choose how people get in. "Open" lets anyone with the link in; the invite-code and approval modes work as on the web. - Joining an invite-only event without a code says so up front, instead of sending a request that would be turned away. - A message one relay accepted is no longer shown as queued, and no longer counts as unsent at logout. - Login links that carry a key ask before signing in, and never replace an account you're already logged into. - Edits from two devices merge instead of overwriting each other, plus many smaller fixes to relay paging, remote-signer sign-in and app links.

People who joined before the link get a one-tap card. - Each event keeps its own people, matches and group chat; the community page lists its events. - Works when the event and the community use different coordinators. - Oct 10, 2026 0.10.0The first native Android app for Nostrautica: events, people, matches and intros, talks, posts, private messages, group chat and the organizer tools, at parity with the web app. - No app server: encryption, event keys and MLS group chat run on the phone, against Nostr relays. - Sign in with Amber on the phone, any NIP-46 signer (without a signer installed, the QR code shows right away), or your own key. - arm64 phones only.
