  The window is a dispatch label now. Open a document with KindBeamer and it is already addressed: the file you gave it, a title from its name, the devices you ticked last time. Press **Enter** and it goes. The postmark fills as the bytes do, strikes solid on delivery, and the window closes itself. Only a failure keeps it on screen, and it says why. **Monochrome e-paper, inverted at night.** One ink on one paper, no accent hue anywhere: every state is fill, stroke, tick or inversion.

  Two bundled faces carry it, one for what the form printed and one for what was filled into it. The icon and the Android splash are drawn in the same world. Paper, night or follow-the-system in Settings. **Keyboard first**, for tiling window managers and anyone who does not reach for the mouse: | Key | Does | |---|---| | `Enter` | Send | | `Esc` | Clear the queue; again to close | | `1`…`9`, `0` | Tick the device on that line | | `A` | All devices, or none | | `E` | Keep a copy in your Kindle library | | `Backspace` | Drop the marked document | | `?` | The card that lists all of this | Devices sit in two numbered columns, so a long list no longer needs scrolling. Every default is remembered for the next document: the devices, the library copy, the appearance, and whether the window closes itself. **Failures speak the app's language.** A send or a device list that fails says what happened and what to do, with Amazon's raw answer folded away behind DETAILS. When Amazon stops accepting this installation's registration, which is what a stale session looks like, the app opens the sign-in flow itself instead of leaving a 403 on the label. Signing in re-registers the same device, so your Kindles and the documents on them are untouched. The sign-in also offers **OPEN IN BROWSER** everywhere now: finish in your own browser and paste the address it lands on. That route was Linux-only before. Unsigned, so the first launch needs a right-click, Open, or `xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine`. - **Linux** — `KindBeamer-1.1.0-linux-x64.tar.gz` or `-arm64`. Needs GTK 3 and glibc 2.34 or newer. `libsecret` puts credentials in the keyring rather than a file. - **Android** — Zapstore keeps it updated, or `KindBeamer-1.1.0.apk`.   First release of KindBeamer, an unofficial Send to Kindle client for macOS, Linux and Android. Pick documents, pick devices, send them over Wi-Fi to your Kindles, optionally archiving in your Kindle Library. It speaks the same undocumented service the official desktop app uses, so no browser upload and no email-to-Kindle address. ## Install **Android:** [Zapstore](https://zapstore.dev/apps/dev.stkn.kindbeamer), or the APK below. **macOS:** the DMG below.
