YooFree

YooFree talks directly to Yoosee/GW (Gwell) IP cameras on the local network (RTSP :554): no cloud, no account, no ads, no telemetry. These cameras do not speak standard RTSP — DESCRIBE returns 400 when auth is present — so generic players cannot read them. YooFree implements the minimal handshake the camera accepts, depacketizes HEVC by hand and muxes recordings with a custom MP4 writer. Features: live HEVC/H.265 1080p, PTZ, finger-anchored digital zoom (1x-5x) with pan and double-tap, local MP4 recording, camera audio (G.711), 90° rotation, landscape HUD, automatic camera discovery, RTSP Digest auth and custom ports (access over VPN). Settings include light/dark/system theme, PTZ direction inversion, a glossary and project support links. Roadmap: SD-card playback via DVRIP/XMeye. Permissions: INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE — nothing else. Cleartext traffic is intentional and stays on the LAN.
