A full nostr relay in your pocket. Small, lean and fast.

Newlay turns your phone into a real nostr relay. It runs the same engine as newlay on Linux servers, packaged as a tiny app that keeps the relay running in the background. **Small and lean** - A ~12 MB download, and that is the whole relay: storage, indexes, search and sync. - No AndroidX, no Google Play services, no trackers, no ads. - One embedded LMDB database. Events, indexes and search commit atomically. **A real relay** - NIPs 1, 9, 11, 29, 40, 42, 43, 45, 50, 70, 77, 86. - Full-text search (NIP-50), groups (NIP-29) and negentropy sync (NIP-77). - Remote management (NIP-86): set an admin by pasting an npub or with Amber. - Serve just this phone (127.0.0.1) or your whole LAN, with optional start on boot. - Back up and restore the relay to a single portable file. Open source under the MIT license.

    ### Android - A proper look: a dark theme, a status card showing live state, address (tap to copy), new events, store size and admin at a glance, and the settings grouped into cards.
