- Oct 21, 2026 0.9.1## Offline Music Local 0.9.1 - Keep filter categories and Include/Exclude controls available in compact layouts, including with the keyboard open. - Prevent the advanced-expression editor from crashing when its layout changes size. - Bring validation errors into view after Apply, including repeated errors, without discarding the expression. - Stop old search results from remaining selectable while a new filter search is loading. - Keep artist and album context visible after selection, with distinct labels for same-name and unavailable entries. - Show Resume queue during a queue-wide pause. Resuming the queue preserves songs that were paused individually. - Restore the Downloads search text, search mode and selected tab when the screen is recreated.
- Oct 20, 2026 0.9.0## Offline Music Local 0.9.0 - Downloads now keeps Saved audio separate from Queue management. - The queue dashboard shows counts and filters for Queue, Active, Waiting, Attention, Paused and History, with clear item actions, including retry. - Finished songs stay playable from Saved audio while you manage, pause or cancel queued downloads. - Genre, tag, artist and album choices are searchable, with artists and albums in separate lists. - Stored genre and tag labels are normalized for matching. Existing Any/All rules, expressions and saved queues keep working. - One consistent music-note icon, better placeholder contrast in light and dark themes, tidier dashboard spacing and clearer selected states. AMOLED stays pure black. - An interrupted download stays unfinished. When a source change on an unfinished download requires a fresh download, completed Saved songs stay protected.
- Oct 16, 2026 0.6.0## Offline Music 0.6.0 When the download queue stalls or fails, recovery keeps the songs you asked to save. - **Downloads screen:** Queue and Saved tabs. Rows show songs by default, and you can switch to a Collections view. Filters: Active, Waiting, Attention, Paused, History. - **Queue Pause/Continue:** Continuing the queue keeps songs you paused individually in their paused state. - **Retry eligible:** Skips songs you paused, and respects source cooldowns and storage checks. - **Keeps your work:** Pausing or retrying keeps your requested songs and any usable partial audio. Cancel remaining only affects unfinished requests. Songs that finish before the cancel takes effect stay saved, including songs that finish while the cancel dialog is open. Removing everything is a separate action in the overflow menu. It asks you to confirm and shows how many requests and saved songs are affected. History is kept. - **Clearer errors:** Rate limits, access problems, unavailable tracks and network failures are now reported separately. When a source sends Retry-After, the app waits and sends one probe request. Other work starts again only after that probe succeeds. After the wait, the source and provider access still determine availability. Automatic retries are limited. After that, requests stay in the queue so you can retry them yourself. - **Stall handling:** If a download stops receiving data, the app restarts it a limited number of times and then holds it for you. A slow download that keeps receiving data continues.

- Shows bytes received when the total size is unknown. Checks for a storage reserve on the download location you chose. Touch targets are 48dp. - **Diagnostics:** You can share a redacted report with counts, states, error categories and recovery times. It leaves out titles, track IDs, URLs, credentials, and account or IP details. **Notes:** Install this update in place over the matching installed app: Offline Music or Offline Music Local. Force-stopping the app halts background downloads until you reopen it. Only fully saved songs are available offline. Offline Music Local is a separate app whose Android manifest omits the INTERNET permission.
