Zapstore Catalog Medication reminders that arrive on time. No account, no internet.
Nexpill keeps track of every dose for the people you care for: when it was given, when the next one can be, and a reminder on the minute when it's due. It was written by a caregiver, for caregivers, and it does all of that on your phone. **The one thing to know, at a glance** Each medication says where it stands right now: due in 8 minutes, overdue by 25, can be given again at 8:19. What needs doing first is at the top, with a button to log the dose. Nexpill does the time arithmetic, across midnight and clock changes, and asks before you log a dose early. **Every kind of schedule** • Every few hours, including odd intervals like 4 h 45 min • At set times of day • As needed, with a minimum gap between doses • Tapers whose interval changes by date • A single dose at a set date and time **Reminders that arrive on time** Exact alarms held by the phone itself, so they come on the minute: with no signal, in airplane mode, after a restart. Mark a dose given or snooze it straight from the notification. For the doses that can't be missed, a reminder can ring like an alarm clock until someone deals with it. **A record you can trust** Fix a mistaken time with a correction that keeps the original. Note who gave each dose. Track how much is left. Save the history as a spreadsheet, or a plain summary for the doctor. **Your records stay on your phone** • No account, no server, no sync • No internet permission: Android itself stops Nexpill from sending anything anywhere • No analytics, advertising or tracking, and excluded from Android's cloud backup • Back up to a file wherever you choose Nexpill tracks timing. It doesn't give medical advice, recommend doses or check interactions. Nexpill is free and open source under the GNU General Public License, with no ads or premium tier, and it always will be.

- Nov 5, 2026 0.8.0### Added - Nexpill in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal) and Russian, as well as English. It follows the phone's language, or pick one in Settings → Language (or, on Android 13 and later, in the phone's settings for the app). Reminders, the printable summary and the dose-history spreadsheet are in the same language. Times still follow the phone's 12- or 24-hour setting. Thanks to mrCabez for reviewing the Italian ([#46](https://github.com/SuperDaveOrg/Nexpill/pull/46)). The others are first drafts that no native speaker has checked yet; corrections are welcome on [Hosted Weblate](https://hosted.weblate.org/engage/nexpill/)

and will go out as they come in. - Refill a medication's supply: "Refill" in the card's menu adds a new pack to what's left, leaving its schedule and doses as they were ([#44](https://github.com/SuperDaveOrg/Nexpill/issues/44)). Each refill is kept in the medication's history and in the dose-history spreadsheet; one logged by mistake can be deleted there. - Coming up: what someone has to take over the next 12 hours, 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days, by time and in total, for loading a pill dispenser. It's in the calendar button at the top of their medications, and counts medications with reminders off as well. As-needed medications, and ones counted from a first dose not yet given, are listed without times. ### Changed - The Supply section's "Starting amount" is now "Amount left": it shows what's left, and changing it sets that. Turning supply tracking on for a medication already being given now starts from the amount entered, rather than counting the doses already given against it. - Backups are format version 6, which can hold refills. Older versions of Nexpill can't restore them; this version restores every earlier file. --- **Verify the download** `nexpill-0.8.0.apk` works on any phone and is the one offered at https://nexpill.superdavelab.com. The others are smaller, each for one kind of processor; nearly every current phone is `arm64-v8a`. All are built from tag `v0.8.0` by `tool/build_release.sh`, which refuses any build asking for a permission outside the allow-list — `INTERNET` above all. ``` SHA-256 859d25bdcea8f077087487bd8760b11503e46f048865f2e9d1699c5d63c6d496 nexpill-0.8.0.apk SHA-256 ee221e432803ba93380b22b2b493af6617cb5108029cf0d4b8d2564818f22872 nexpill-0.8.0-armeabi-v7a.apk SHA-256 a7941584d3688cd4e6e25c60114c24c279c818ded5c58113c3175af475adb157 nexpill-0.8.0-arm64-v8a.apk SHA-256 d6c25dca0325ee0de01299f1a7d09fc36e4054fc559e082d3c1c59f8720fb2a4 nexpill-0.8.0-x86_64.apk Signer 2f37b86a50d13d2d43c9c0b39f71016ed899b2eb89f4673991febe46beca5c0d ```
