    Two Linux-facing fixes. No migration, no config change — install and relaunch. ### Fixed - **The blank-screen workaround no longer costs everyone CPU.** Onyx disabled WebKitGTK's DMABUF renderer on *every* Linux system to work around the blank/white window in [#19](https://github.com/derekross/onyx/issues/19). That makes WebKitGTK composite through CPU shared memory instead of zero-copy GPU buffers, which burns CPU in both Onyx and your compositor. If you set `WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER` yourself it still wins, in either direction: `=1` forces the workaround on, `=0` forces it off. - **Long unbroken strings wrap in the editor.** URLs, npubs and tokens no longer run off the edge of the note. The editor now uses `overflow-wrap: anywhere`, which handles the case the nord theme's `word-wrap: break-word` misses in WebKit — a long word sitting at the start of a line. ### Unchanged from v0.16.2 Everything in the symlinked-vault fix ships here too. If you skipped v0.16.2, its notes are worth reading: symlinked folders and files became openable and editable, the `asset://` handler stopped leaking a file-existence oracle, and search started working on a symlinked vault root. ### Known gaps - Verified on Linux only, at the function level: `cargo test` full package, 18 passed, 0 failed, on the merge commit. macOS, Windows and Android artifacts are built by CI but were not launched or tested. - The DMABUF change was **not** verified on the hardware it targets. Nobody here has an Nvidia or Hyprland setup to confirm the workaround still engages where it is needed, or that scoping it did not reintroduce the blank screen. If #19 returns for you, set `WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1` and say so on that issue — that is the immediate workaround and the signal we need. - Click-level GUI cases were not executed; no input injection on the test machine. ### Contributors Fixes by Derek Ross.
